RoofCover SA bitumen primer is suitable for self-adhesive bitumen roofing membranes, and guarantees optimum adhesion between substrate and bitumen vapour barrier. This quick-drying primer can be applied to both wooden substrates (osb, boards) and stone substrates (screed, concrete).
RoofCover SA bitumen primer is available in 5L and 12L cans. 1 litre of primer is sufficient for approximately 4m² of vapour barrier.

Processing
RoofCover SA Bitumen Primer is ready for use and may not be diluted with other products. The surface must be brush clean. A slightly moist substrate is no problem. If in doubt, test on a small area first. Apply the primer with a paint roller in a thin, even layer. Consumption depends on the surface, between 3 and 5 m².
